This dark brown metal gate measures 30" tall and is designed to contain children and pets while enhancing the look of your home decor. With two extensions included, you can customize the gate to fit spaces from 28-42 inches wide.

Installation is a breeze with the no-drill pressure mount system and adhesive wall cups that come with the gate, protecting your walls from damage. For stairway installation, use the included hardware kit (required for safety). Recommended tools for hardware installation (not included) include a drill, Phillips-head screwdriver, pencil, and measuring tape.

Please keep in mind that the gate may appear bent at first, but this is not a defect and will be corrected once properly installed. Prior to purchasing, be sure to measure your opening to ensure that the gate fits properly.

The Summer Modern Home Safety Baby and Dog Gate has a 18" wide door that can swing both ways. The door stays open when engaged at more than 90 degrees and closes automatically when opened less than 90 degrees. A stopper prevents the door from swinging over stairs when installed at the top.

With narrowly spaced bars, the gate securely locks to keep babies, toddlers, and dogs contained. Adults can easily open the door with one hand by engaging the latch and pulling up.

Please note that the gate will not fit openings that are 32-33" or 37-38" wide. This gate has been third-party safety tested and approved for your peace of mind.
